Delivery info

Whilst our main aim here on the farm is the welfare of our livestock our job isnt complete until your order has been safely delivered to your door for you to enjoy. We have taken the  time to look into the best packaging and delivery service that not only keeps your order safe and secure it also fits into our aim of being sustainable. 

Who we use to deliver

APC is a well established delivery company who we trust to provide a reliable and efficient service to our customers when handling your orders. We offer delivery to your door on a Tuesday and Friday, with your order being packed and collected from our farm the evening before. 

Packaging

We have chosen Puffin packaging to supply our lining and ice packs. The lining is made using sheep's' wool, a natural insulator that is effective at keeping your order at the correct temperature for 24 hours. You can reuse the lining by taking the wool out of the recyclable packaging and putting it to use within your home and or garden (See puffinpackaging.co.uk for more ideas and ways to reuse your liners) The ice packs are recyclable and made of high-quality, non-toxic materials. They're reusable too, and work great in the picnic basket. 

Delivery options and charges 

Whilst we have carefully chosen high quality sustainable packaging we continue to try to keep our postage and packaging as low as possible and have absorbed some of the costs to ensure that as many people as possible can enjoy our produce. 

Meat produce - P&P is £9.50 to anywhere in UK mainland (Not Highlands and Islands) with a minimum delivery order value of £25. Free delivery on order's over the value of £75.00

Free Delivery for Locals, minimum order value of £10

Extended Local delivery, £5 charge with a minimum order value of £20

Pick up option available, This does not include a minimum order value 

Antler - P&P is via royal mail with a set cost of £5 

When will my order be delivered

We currently only offer Tuesday and Friday for our delivery days, this is to allow us to manage our orders and homemade produce along side family and farming life and maintain the high standards within our products. We’ll be reviewing this decision regularly and if we see a demand in more delivery days being requested we will look at adding further options. 

All orders placed by 4pm on a Sunday will be made/packed on the Monday to be collected that evening and delivered to your door by the following day (Tuesday) 

All orders placed by 4pm Wednesday will be made/packed on the Thursday to be collected that evening and delivered to your door by the following day (Friday)

How our produce will arrive

All our meat is delivered frozen in insulated packaging specifically designed to keep your food at a cool temperature and safe in transit. With the packaging we use it stops the temperature from rising above 8c during transportation, therefore if your meat has thawed slightly when it arrives, it is completely safe to pop it straight into your freezer.  The meat is frozen from the day its is butchered and packed to lock in the freshness as soon as possible and ensure the meat is of high quality once defrosted for you to enjoy.

Our homemade produce is freshly made to order and packed to ensure it is kept at a cool temperature ready to go straight into your fridge on arrival.
